J. PERA
Vice Chairman, Chair Audit Committee
Born in Harrisburg,
Pennsylvania, Mr. Pera attended Dickinson College where
he received his BA degree in 1962 and the University
of Pennsylvania Law School where in 1965 he received
his LL.B. degree, Cum Laude. Rod was the managing
partner of the law firm of McNees, Wallace
and Nurick, a 70 attorney firm in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. While
in his home state, Rod was deeply involved with the
Hershey Chocolate interests. He served on the
Board of Hershey Foods Corporation, Hershey Entertainment
and Resorts Company and was Chairman of the Boards
of the Hershey Trust Company and the Milton Hershey
School. He also served as President of the Milton
Hershey School in 1992 and 1993. Rod relocated
to Santa Fe in 1994.
