ROBERT M. GOODMAN
President & CEO, Sandia Foundation
In January, 2008 Mr. Goodman retired as Vice Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Albuquerque, NA. In June, 2008 Mr. Goodman became the Executive Director and then President and CEO of Sandia Foundation. Sandia Foundation has three primary beneficiaries, the University of New Mexico, Dickinson College and charitable organizations doing business in Albuquerque. Mr. Goodman spent his career as an executive in the Albuquerque banking community, including being the president of Sunwest Bank, at the time New Mexico’s largest bank. Mr. Goodman has served on numerous nonprofit boards including the Mind Research Network; past Chair of the UNM Foundation Board, serving as Chairman of its Investment Committee; a member of the Albuquerque Community Foundation Board of Trustees for a number of years, also serving as Chairman of its Investment Committee; ten years as the Chairman of the New Mexico Finance Authority; a member of the Albuquerque Country Club Board, serving as president for two years; past member of the Sandia Prep Board Of Trustees, serving as chairman for two years, and many other Albuquerque nonprofit boards over the past 40 years. Mr. Goodman received his undergraduate degree in business and an MBA, both from the University of New Mexico. |
